Daishanee who also goes by Dai (pronounced Day) loves her community and helping others. Dai graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology. She has worked in group homes, schools, and disability centers. She enjoys giving back to the homeless and aspires to start her own nonprofit targeting providing resources, positivity, and a nice smile to those less fortunate. Dai loves spending time with her family and prides herself on being “the favorite aunt” to her nieces and nephews. Dai has a nephew whom she calls her “best friend” that has sickle cell trait. She wants to learn more to help her nephew and others and knew Cayenne Wellness Center was the place for her to be a helping hand. She is dedicated to being reliable, present, understanding, and excited to support anyone with or who knows someone with SCD to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. She hopes to bring sunshine to dark days.
