My name is Jumi Aluko and I help individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses reach and connect with their target audience through events, sponsorships, direct media outreach, and content marketing.

I am an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the events industry, bringing people together to celebrate the most incredible experiences in their lives! I have helped execute live productions such as Los Angeles Fashion Week, the Miss Black USA Pageant, global conferences full of healthcare experts, international company retreats, and networking events with executives from the music, film, and tech industries.

Not only do I love planning, producing, and managing events, but I am also a strategic communicator, relationship builder, and people connector. In the midst of our digital age, you’ll find me constantly emphasizing the importance of effective communication and building relationships in person. I love connecting with people to build strong and lasting relationships.

As part of my personal mission to support the arts and youth development, I volunteer with the Los Angeles Music and Arts School as the President on the School’s Young Professionals Advisory Board (YPAB) and also the YPAB Liaison to the Board of Directors.

My volunteer involvement and career choice stem from the fact that I know each day I have on earth, I have the opportunity to impact the life of a person and help them celebrate life’s achievements/accomplishments without feeling alone or bogged down by the HOW.

Originally from the east coast, I now reside in sunny Los Angeles where I spend my down time trying new recipes (basically spending WAY too much time in Ralphs, Vons, and international food markets), checking out concerts, and strolling the aisles of the local Michael’s and Hobby Lobby stores for my next arts and crafts project!
