Compassionate Executive Program Assistant

Dawna Jakubecy

Dawna is a marketing and administrative professional, and has worked in government and the communication, technology, and holistic health industries. She earned her master’s in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing, from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She wrote her thesis on the “Study of the Impact of the Integration of Direct Mail and Internet Marketing.” Her research and methodology led her to accept her hypothesis that direct mail does enhance internet marketing.

Before coming to Cayenne Wellness, Dawna worked for the Holistic Chamber of Commerce where she learned about the holistic approach to wellness that simultaneously addresses the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual components of health along with the different modalities available. This stimulated her interest in contributing to the wellness of others.

Her passion for helping others led her to become a member of Kiwanis International, a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. She volunteers helping children and the disadvantaged through community service events and fundraising.

In her time away from Cayenne Wellness, Dawna loves dancing and is passionate about movement. Her love of dance goes back to when she was a child. To her, dancing creates energy. It’s freedom and spontaneity, the liberty to act on impulse, and the ability to express creativity. She also likes to express her creativity through graphic design, creating colorful and vibrant digital designs.
