Our Services
Beyond our programs, we provide a number of services to patients with sickle cell disease. The purpose of these services is to facilitate access to complete and comprehensive care for individuals diagnosed with sickle cell disease. If you are a patient in need of support, whether it be locating a hematologist that understands sickle cell disease or learning how to navigate the emergency room, reach out to us today.
Contact our 24/7 Cayenne Wellness Center Hotline for guidance on sickle cell disease and COVID-19. We offer advice, support, and resources for health, employment, and more to patients and their families.
We believe that free counseling should be accessible to all California residents living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) so we provide comprehensive mental health and wellness services.
Newborn Follow-Up
Supported by the HRSA Grant, our SCD Newborn Screening Follow-Up program reaches sickle cell patients across California, offering assessments, education, care coordination, and advocacy.
Our SCD Client Assistance Program (CAP) alleviates the financial burden of sickle cell disease management for patients and families, offering care coordination and economic support.
Partnered with SCDAA, we support patients in the “Get Connected” registry: a national, secure platform for sickle cell disease. Register for access to medical history, community forums, and updates.
Our Sickle Cell Transition Program aids young adults with sickle cell disease (ages 16-22) in transitioning to adult care through education, mentorship, internships, and emotional support.
