Tegan Moody is a full-time volunteer in her second year of national service through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Tegan has worked with a variety of nonprofits and agencies, from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and Meals on Wheels, to TreePeople and the Venice Learning Garden. Tegan holds a bachelor’s degree in art from Ohio State University, with a minor in Asian studies. Before shifting into the nonprofit sector, she worked for 10 years in the tech industry. She now applies her skills to activism and reform, such as initiatives in literacy, social inclusion, and open knowledge.
