Calvanay Nunley from Richmond, California, is a dedicated Sickle Cell Warrior and the Director of Camp Super Star, a camp for children living with sickle cell disease. A Certified Nursing Assistant and the founder of The Pull Up initiative, she is a passionate advocate for improved healthcare access and support for those affected by chronic illness.
Having overcome significant health challenges herself, she continues to inspire others through her resilience and commitment to service. She is currently pursuing a career in both social work and nursing to further her impact in the community.
