Hispanic Heritage Virtual Seminar 2025

Our Courage: 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Sickle Cell Disease Educational Seminar

Our Courage: 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Sickle Cell Disease Educational Seminar was a day dedicated to education, empowerment, and community for Hispanic and Latinx individuals and families impacted by sickle cell disease (SCD).

This educational event brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, community leaders, patients, and caregivers from across the United States and Latin America to share the latest information on sickle cell disease, FDA-approved treatments, gene therapies, pregnancy, childhood, transition to adult care, comorbidities, blood donation, and many other important topics.

Participants also heard powerful personal stories from patients and families, as well as an international patient panel featuring advocates from Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico who shared their experiences, challenges, and commitment to improving the lives of people living with sickle cell disease.

Whether you missed the live event or would like to revisit a presentation, we invite you to watch the recorded sessions below. We hope these educational resources provide valuable knowledge, practical guidance, and inspiration while reminding you that you are part of a compassionate community working together to improve the future of sickle cell disease.
