Isaias Moreno is a Master of Social Work student at California State University, Northridge. He collaborated with a school district in the Inland Empire to help create a training program addressing the gap between when a referral for services is made and when those services begin, ensuring students and families remain supported during that waiting period. Isaias has also worked in behavioral health, spending two years as a social worker at a psychiatric health facility in Northern California. He has experience working with children and adolescents experiencing depression and early childhood trauma, as well as experience in acute mental health. Isaias is a compassionate MSW intern excited to join Cayenne Wellness Center for his practicum placement. Outside of work, he loves spending time with friends and his dog “coco”, has a passion for cars, and enjoys the outdoors.
