Warrior Poetics Year One (poems about surviving, thriving, and making a bold statement living with Sickle Cell Disease. Devoted to poetry of the Sickle Cell Warrior experience).

Did you know April was National Poetry Month?  If you did not know this, Cayenne Wellness Center is inviting you to participate in our Poetry Contest.  We were thinking how great it would be for Cayenne Wellness Center to receive poetry writings from our Sickle Cell community from around the world and feature your writings during our 14th Annual SCD Educational Summit.  The theme that we want our Sickle Cell  Warriors to write about is Embracing Possibilities.  That is the theme for this year’s Summit.
