Eden is a first-generation college graduate. She received a B.S. in Health Sciences from California State University East Bay and became a Certified Health Education Specialist in hopes to advance her professional training. She discovered one of her interests through volunteering was to build bridges for underserved communities that would improve their quality of life, health, and well-being. She intuitively knew that someday an emerging infectious disease like COVID-19 would expose the health disparities in health care. She is committed to being a contributing force and problem solver to address the health disparities impacting the most vulnerable. Her other passion is in empowering others about financial literacy.
